7 months

I haven't posted in a while. There are so many internet posting options like facebook, myspace, ofoto, etc. Here are some recent pictures of the girls. They are sitting up well and during tummy time can turn 90 degrees. Cadence says momma, bobba, wawa, oh yah, aahh, and lots of high pitched sounds. she is eating like a champ and will pretty much eat whatever veggies I give her. Izzy says dada, oh yah, aahh, yaya. Izzy is like her mommy and a little more picky, she only likes carrots and sweet potatoes.

5 months

Time is flying at this point, I can't believe how big the girls are. They are grabbing things, laughing, smiling, rolling, trying to sit up and definitely interested in what we are eating. I am glad they are not crawling yet as I'm a bit intimidated to chase two at the same time. My sister is here so she can definitely help but I think of that day when I will be alone doing this and it scares me. I hear it will get easier once they are 3 and playing with themselves. In the mean time, I'm trying to soak it all in and stay in the moment. Here's some pictures over the last month

4 months

Their 4 month birthday is tomorrow. Their personalities are continuing to flourish. We are trying to get them to laugh but we have only succeeded with a small "ha ha" from Izzy. Izzy is talking up a storm and is very loud. I can hear her from my bedroom in the living room. Cadence has a more softer voice. I finally bought them a stroller that I can handle with my weak condition, it's called the City Mini by Baby Jogger. In one snap, you can fold it. Here's some of the latest pics of October

The girls are getting so big!

I can't believe Cadence and Isabella are over 3 months old. They are smiling a lot now, very observant and holding their heads up pretty well. Their personalities are totally opposite. Cadence has continued to be the more reserved happy baby, she loves to be held now. A little bit of a shoulder baby. Izzy is feisty, likes to move alll the time. We're either bouncing her, or shes on the swing, or we're holding her. They are both doing well. Here's some of the latest pictures.

6 week pics

The girls are a little over 6 weeks old now. They had their first photography session and Cadence is a little ham in front of the camera. Izzy liked doing the naked pictures but after that, she was over it. Here are some from our camera as well as some pictures that I took last week.

Shawna is home!

I've been home for a little over a week now, I think everyone knows that now as Jorja has been keeping up the blog. Thanks Jorja for doing that, my stay at the hospital was tremendously difficult and I was having a hard time finding a desire to communicate to my friends and extended family. It's a very depressing environment and getting home has made me 80% better mentally. All my back pain is pretty much gone now. My abdominal surgeon told me that I have another 6 weeks to recover. I'm house bound right now due to my heart. I have another appointment with my cardiologist in a week so please pray for a good ECG and echocardiagram. My sister has officially moved in to help me with the girls. I don't know what I would do without her. This experience has been such a nightmare, thank god I'm blessed with a loving and supportive family on both sides. I will continue meeting with my 4 different doctors until they see that I'm out of the clear. I'm just taking things very easy right now and enjoying my girls. They have both grown so much already. Isabella is starting to get a little feisty so we'll see if this is a hint of what is in the future. Cadence continues to sleep well and does not cry as often as Izzy, only when she is really hungry. Right now my sleeping schedule seems to be to stay up until 3am (the first night feeding) and then Anthony or Jenny will take the next feeding around 6am. We are very lucky that they have a good night sleep pattern. They are both the same weight now 7.12oz and 21 inches long. Here are some more recent pics around the day that I came home. Thanks for everyone keeping us in your prayers.
