8 week ultrasound

Thursday was our 8 week ultrasound. I was still quite nervous and anxious as my symptoms were going away that week. I had more energy and didn't feel sick. My RE started the ultrasound and found baby number one measuring 8 weeks and 4 days with 180 bpm heartbeat. Baby number two was 8 weeks and 3 days with 170 bpm heartbeat. The theory is with two high heartbeats, is that they are girls but we'll see. We got to hear the heartbeats for the first time. The sound made me cry, it definitely was a special moment. I have another ultrasound at 10 weeks and 12 weeks and then we leave our RE and go onto a high risk OB and a Perintologist. I'm looking forward to the holidays and hoping time will fly by.
